Tatarstan shares its experience in developing social business
A press tour was held in Tatarstan from October 23 to 24. Its participants visited social enterprises, learned about support measures and programs for the development of socially adapted businesses.
The organizers of the event were the foundation "Our Future" ( Moscow). The Foundation is the first non-governmental institution in Russia that develops social entrepreneurship. The press tour was attended by republican social entrepreneurs, representatives of Kazan Federal University, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the Our Future Foundation and the media.
In addition to visiting social enterprises, the participants of the press tour learned where in Tatarstan they can study to become a social entrepreneur, improve their professional skills, or receive support measures to start their own business.
The delegation visited the My Business Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. Current programs of financial and non-financial support of Tatarstan were presented to the participants. The speakers also discussed the possibilities of developing educational programs for the population.
The participants of the press tour also visited the round table "Educational programs in the field of social entrepreneurship" of Kazan Federal University and social enterprises of Tatarstan.
The list of enterprises includes Timur Nikolaev's project "Diary of a Diabetic", which became the winner of the #IChangetheWorld competition of the Our Future Foundation in 2023, the Technoclass network of robotics and invention clubs in Kazan by Victoria Rakhimova, the Kazanysh family educational center for neuropsychological diagnostics and correction in Kazan by Dilara Gazizova, the brand of adaptive clothing for children and for adults with special needs, Dalia Gaynanova GT Dress. Let us recall that the brand became the winner of the third season of the All-Russian competition of growing brands "Know our People" in the "Inclusion" nomination. The delegation also visited the linen textile workshop for the home with unique embroidery by Natalia Vlasova, who became the winner of the regional stage of the federal program "Mom Entrepreneur-2024" in Tatarstan.
As of October of this year, 123 social entrepreneurs were registered in the profile register in the Republic of Tatarstan.
