Tatarstan has amended the law on the development of small and medium-sized businesses

A law on amendments to article 13 of the republican law on the development of small and medium-sized enterprises was adopted at a meeting of the State Council in the first one. 

The law, developed in order to bring the republican legislation in line with the federal one, clarifies the wording used in the republican law "horticulture, gardening". A significant difference between the new wording approved in the law is the indication that horticultural and gardening activities are carried out by citizens specifically for their own needs, and not for commercial use.

As Ryagat Khusainov, Chairman of the Committee on Economics, Investments and Entrepreneurship, noted, the new terminology makes it possible to more accurately define the legal regime of land plots belonging to one of the forms of property support for entrepreneurs. 

Currently, garden land plots are excluded from the list of types of property support for entrepreneurs.
