This year, the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) has confirmed its role as an important platform for developing Russia's partnership with the countries of Asia and the Global South. Numerous delegations arrived from China, Mongolia, India, Japan and Laos.
Within the framework of the forum, important meetings were held between Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov aimed at expanding international cooperation and discussing promising investment projects with representatives of the People's Republic of China and the Republic of India, the two largest economies in the Asian region and key partners of Russia.
During the meeting, the sides discussed specific areas for strengthening trade and economic ties and new opportunities for interaction between business circles in the context of modern economic realities.
The negotiations focused on the implementation of joint investment projects and the expansion of its presence in the Tatarstan market.
