Today in Vladivostok, at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov met with the Executive Director of Beverages Together (AB InBev Efes).
Drinks Together Company (AB InBev Efes) provides more than 3,600 jobs, each of which generates up to 12 vacancies in related industries — agriculture, trade, catering, hospitality, logistics and other industries. The company has been developing its own Agricultural Program for more than 20 years, which unites more than 200 local farms. The level of procurement localization is more than 90%.
"The high level of localization of purchases from domestic manufacturers and stable investments in production development are precisely the factors that contribute to the sustainable growth of our economy. We are interested in further deepening cooperation and are ready to support the company's projects," the minister said.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the company's current investment projects in Tatarstan and new market opportunities.
"We highly appreciate our partnership with the Republic of Tatarstan, which is a strategically important region for our business. We are confident that government support for new market opportunities will ensure the further development of the industry. Tatarstan is an ideal platform for such solutions: flexible, progressive and open to innovative projects that are subsequently scaled at the federal level," said Stanislav Kaplan, Executive Director of Beverages Together (AB InBev Efes).
EEF-2025 takes place from September 3-6 at the Far Eastern Federal University campus in Vladivostok. The forum is attended by representatives of 70 countries, including China, Vietnam, India, Laos, Malaysia and Thailand. The key topics for discussion will be the introduction of modern technologies, the development of infrastructure projects, the formation of new logistics corridors, as well as the training of qualified personnel.
