Tatarstan citizens and regional enterprises are invited to participate in the Family History Festival

On September 27-28, 2025, Moscow will host the annual Genexpo Family History Festival, which will be open to those from the Republic of Tatarstan.

The festival, organized with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow, as well as the Yandex Archive Search service, is a significant event in the field of genealogy, sociology, demography and corporate culture. The event, which has been held for the fifth year, brings together industry experts, researchers, representatives of the business elite, family businesses, media personalities and bloggers.

All aspects related to the study and preservation of family history will be presented at the festival site: from the work of genealogists and archivists to psychologists, family tree designers, book authors, representatives of museums and genealogical communities. The business program will include discussions and presentations by leading experts, as well as an exhibition, a workshop area, a family workshop fair, a musical and theatrical space, and a networking platform.

Special attention at the festival will be paid to topical issues of our time, such as military genealogy and patriotic education, work with teenagers and youth, corporate responsibility and labor dynasties, new social communication practices and community building, family business and continuity, public policy and public initiatives, local community development, non-profit organizations and business projects, as well as VR technologies and genetics.

Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov emphasized the importance of the festival, noting that "the study of genealogy allows not only to preserve historical memory, but also to pass it on to the next generations, ensuring continuity and sustainability of family and cultural traditions."

The organizers of the festival are the Family Tradition, an autonomous non-profit organization for the Promotion of the historical memory of generations, the Roscongress Foundation, the Christian Family Traditions House and the Bird of the Genus project.

The event will be held at the site of the Lomonosov Cluster, the Vorobyovy Gory Moscow State University Innovation Research Center at 1 Ramenskiy Boulevard, Moscow.

More than 80 lecturers from leading regions of the Russian Federation will take part in the festival, and the total number of visitors will exceed 5,000 people. The online broadcast of the event will attract more than 50,000 viewers.
