Republican self-employed earned more than 1 million rubles at the Tatarstan Day Fair
40 republican self-employed people became participants of the fair dedicated to the celebration of the Republic of Tatarstan Day. During the two days of the fair, the participants' revenue amounted to 1.1 million rubles.
From August 30 to 31, 2025, the self-employed of Tatarstan took part in the fair under the familiar brand "I am Tatarstan" in Kazan, which became part of a large-scale celebration of the Republic of Tatarstan Day. Retail outlets for the self-employed were provided free of charge and were located along Bauman Street on the square near the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The self-employed presented jewelry, paintings, home textiles, confectionery, cosmetics, home decor and much more made with their own hands.
To promote the products of the republic's self-employed, which reflect the regional identity, the Government of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan annually hold fairs under the brand "I am Tatarstan". This format helps the self-employed to talk about themselves and their business, to find new clients and like-minded people.
For 8 months of this year, the number of citizens using the professional income tax increased by 15% and exceeded 411 thousand people.
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with subordinate development institutions, provides the self-employed with various government support measures, including state guarantees, participation in fairs and assistance in launching products on marketplaces. The support is provided under the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
