2 September 2025, Tuesday

SIBUR has completed major repairs to the fourth administrative building of Kazanorgsintez as part of a program to create a modern workplace at the enterprise. The members of the Board of Directors of Kazanorgsintez got acquainted with the results of the reconstruction of the building.

In total, 4 administrative and residential complexes were reconstructed within the business district of SIBUR – at the KOSA site during the work of the program, improving the workspace for 2.2 thousand people. The total area of the administrative and sanitary facilities reconstructed at the enterprise exceeded 26.2 thousand square meters.

The plant management building includes 162 workplaces, 256 cabinets for storing personal protective equipment, changing rooms for 512 employees, a modern classroom for occupational safety instruction, a cafeteria and a conference hall with 30 seats. The total area of the complex is 4.7 thousand square meters. More than 1 billion rubles were allocated for the renovation of the building and the surrounding area.

The building's functionality has been expanded with a number of options that complement the program to improve working conditions. The building is designed taking into account modern principles of organization of work processes: increasing the comfort and safety of employees. The principle of space organization, in addition to comfort, improves the exchange of competencies by optimizing logistics, provides flexibility and operational workflow management by combining related functions in a single and open workspace.

The renovation of the building and the surrounding area was carried out by contractors from Tatarstan. During the reconstruction, a large number of construction materials from SIBUR's raw materials were used. Among them are DALI paints, Tarkett linoleum, Technonicol roofing materials. The selected materials are distinguished not only by their high quality, but also by their long service life. Thus, linoleum and porcelain stoneware were used in the floor decoration, the service life of which is about 30 years, the main passageways are sheathed with HPL panels from Sloplast, whose service life, depending on operation, reaches 20 years. The project also applies the principles of a closed-loop economy, including recycled plastics and scrap from the dismantling of buildings.

Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Member of the Board of Directors of Kazanorgsintez:

"The reconstruction of the administrative complex is a project about people and technology. SIBUR is not only updating its infrastructure, but also implementing modern principles of labor organization. Investments in people's comfort and safety are direct investments in productivity, efficiency and, ultimately, in the sustainable development of an enterprise. It is important that local contractors are actively involved in the implementation of such projects and synthetic materials of domestic production from their own polymer raw materials are used."

Space improvement and the SIBUR business district

The new administrative and household building has become part of the unified space of the business district, which is being formed on the territory of the enterprise. The buildings inside the business district will be interconnected by road and transport infrastructure and public spaces that create comfortable conditions for employees to relax, meet with colleagues and friends.

The former plant management building was the first to be reconstructed on the territory of Kazanorgsintez. The renovated building was opened in March 2024, and now houses about 700 employees of the SIBUR-wide business expert support center.

In August last year, employees of three Kazanorgsintez production facilities moved into the first new type of administrative and household complex. In March of this year, the company's employees received an updated sanitary and household complex for 1300 places. A total of 11 buildings are expected to be renovated at the enterprise.
