Tatarstan's practice of youth entrepreneurship development is recognized as the best in the country

Tatarstan's practice of supporting youth entrepreneurship has been recognized as the best in Russia. The results were announced at the All-Russian Business Forum in Arkhyz.

The award in the nomination "Best practice in supporting priority groups: youth, women's and social Entrepreneurship" was awarded by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation to the My Business Center of the Republic of Tatarstan for a training program for the development of youth startups (entrepreneurs under 35). The training program was attended by 200 business representatives with their own startup projects, more than 50% of whom had already received government grant funding from 1 to 8 million rubles at the time of the program. 

According to the results of the project, Tatarstan is the leader in the number of top 1000 university startups included in the ranking and the leader in the ranking of the top 50 best startups in Russia.

The program was implemented by the My Business Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with the Skolkovo Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan under the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".

The training cycle included mentoring sessions with business representatives, gamification in the learning process, conducting problematic interviews in real conditions, a pitch session for the top 10 teams based on the results of the module, mentoring each team and creating an effective support system for technology companies in conjunction with the Ministry — University — Enterprise.
