The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the sustainable development of Tatarstan's economy

The day before, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan held a regular meeting of the working group on ensuring the sustainable development of the region's economy. The event was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov with the participation of representatives of line ministries, departments, territorial bodies of federal authorities and municipalities.

The Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, stressed the importance of small and medium-sized businesses as a key factor in sustainable economic development: "We will continue to expand business support tools, create new growth points in municipalities, and foster an entrepreneurial culture."

The issues of classification of accommodation facilities and indicators of business development in municipalities were discussed at the meeting. Alexander Andrinatiev, Deputy Director General of the Federal Autonomous Institution of the National Institute of Accreditation, spoke about the tourist destination of Rosaccreditation, outlined the existing problems and methods of their solution. He recalled that the subjects of the Russian Federation need to complete their self-assessment by September 1, 2025.

Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the RT State Committee on Tourism, provided information on the organization of work on the classification of accommodation facilities and the self-assessment procedure in the republic.

First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Natalia Kondratova reported on the development indicators of small and medium-sized enterprises in municipalities. According to the data presented, there is a positive trend in the SME sector in the republic, but areas have been identified that are significantly lagging behind the national average.

The group's work plan for August-December 2025 was presented at the meeting. Concluding the event, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov stressed the importance of continuing systematic work to meet the indicators of socio-economic development of the republic in 2025.
