The Day of the supplier of the MEGASTROY retail chain was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the event, regional manufacturers presented their products to representatives of the largest retailer in the Russian Federation.

Similar events are regularly organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan on the initiative of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, and are part of a comprehensive program to support domestic producers. The event brought together about 40 representatives of small and medium-sized businesses of the republic interested in expanding sales channels for their products.

During the event, the speakers of the federal hypermarket chain told entrepreneurs about the supplier accreditation procedure, logistical requirements and financial terms of cooperation. Special attention was paid to the issues of product quality and supply stability.

The network's category managers also held individual consultations with regional businesses, where entrepreneurs were able to present samples of their products. According to preliminary estimates, about 40% of the companies present have a high chance of concluding contracts.

"We see great potential in Tatarstan manufacturers and are interested in long-term partnerships. Local products are often as good as their federal counterparts in terms of quality, while having a competitive advantage in logistics," said Olga Pestova, Commercial Director of the construction hypermarket chain.

As a result of previously organized similar events by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, more than 510 regional companies have signed contracts totaling 5.3 billion rubles.

Supplier's Day is an example of the successful implementation of a public-private partnership aimed at stimulating economic growth and import substitution in the Republic of Tatarstan.
