Tatarstan businesses will be able to conduct exchange transactions using partner financing tools

Tatarstan is preparing to put into operation an exchange platform unique for the Russian market, specializing in partner financial instruments.

A key feature of the site will be the possibility of holding auctions to place and raise funds, based on the mudaraba agreement, which is one of the main types of financing in the Islamic economic model.

The auction mechanism of the new platform will focus on parameters reflecting potential returns for investors. A transparent interface and the provision of tools for the prompt resolution of a temporary shortage of funds will become a reliable basis for further work on attracting investments for a long-term period. The proposed format of work provides additional stability of financial mechanisms, reducing the risks of temporary default on the part of borrowers and thereby increasing the level of trust on the part of investors.

"The exchange opens up new business opportunities in Tatarstan. Using its mechanisms will allow our enterprises to increase current liquidity, minimize possible risks when conducting exchange transactions and ensure that transactions are conducted within the framework of the principles of partner financing," said Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the context of the active development of partner financing in Russia, the creation of a specialized exchange infrastructure with auction mechanisms is a significant step towards the formation of a stable financial base for participants in this sector.

The priority areas of cooperation in general, in the context of the agreement, are cooperation on the development of exchange trading, reducing the costs of RT enterprises in the purchase of raw materials and goods through the introduction of exchange mechanisms, expanding sales channels for local producers and improving the skills of market participants in exchange trading.

The platforms will be operated by JSC "CTS Exchange" together with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and AS SALAM Software.
