In Tatarstan, the self-employed earned 2 million rubles at the fair as part of the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship
120 self-employed people from all regions of the republic participated in the fair dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship in Tatarstan. During the three days of the fair, the participants' revenue amounted to 2 million rubles.
120 self-employed people and entrepreneurs took part in the fair under the familiar brand "I am Tatarstan", which was held on Bauman Street from May 23 to May 25. The fair became one of the events of the large-scale celebration of the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship in Tatarstan.
In his congratulations to the businessmen of the republic on their professional holiday, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov noted the contribution of each of them to the well-being of the region.
"Entrepreneurship creates new jobs, increases tax revenues, promotes innovation and improves the quality of life of citizens. But most importantly, it creates a new type of people: successful, independent, ready for change and taking responsibility for it. I am sure that entrepreneurs are the future of our country and the well-being of our republic!" the minister said.
The trade took place at free branded retail outlets provided to the self-employed thanks to the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy". Kazan's busiest and most touristic street was chosen as the location for the fair, which ensured high customer traffic and revenue of 2 million rubles.
The Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan recalled that in order to promote the products of the republic's self-employed, which reflect the regional identity, the Government of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan annually hold fairs under the brand "I am Tatarstan". The initiative has been implemented since the launch of an experimental tax regime in 2019. This format helps the self-employed to talk about themselves and their business, to find new clients and like-minded people.
Today, there are over 390 thousand self-employed citizens in the republic. Since the introduction of the special tax regime, self-employed residents of Tatarstan have earned about 230 billion rubles, and the total amount of taxes paid amounted to 8.5 billion rubles.
The fair is organized by the My Business Center with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
