Tatarstan will select the best exporters in 13 nominations

Tatarstan will determine the winners of the regional stage of the "Exporter of the Year" competition. The winners will be announced in 13 nominations. The event will be held within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export" and is timed to coincide with the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship. 

In total, 249 applications from all over the republic were received for participation in the competition. In addition to the capital's exporters, entrepreneurs from Naberezhnye Chelny, Zelenodolsk and Almetyevsk district showed the greatest activity. The volume of applications submitted is about 10% of the total number of exporters of the republic from the SME sector - today their number exceeds the mark of 2 thousand companies. 

The laureates can represent the region at the federal level and receive additional points for this. The winners of the main nominations will receive a prize for participation in an international exhibition abroad with an individual stand. The event is held among small and medium-sized businesses to stimulate and develop the Republic of Tatarstan's foreign economic activity, as well as to share best practices in exporting goods and services.

The best exporters will be selected in the fields of industry, services, agro-industrial complex, high technologies, as well as in the nominations "Best Female Exporter", "Breakthrough of the Year" and "Young Entrepreneur-exporter.

In addition, the winners of additional nominations will be determined in the field of creative industries, social entrepreneurship, a new export product, a large export geography, the most exotic country and the best family company.

The award ceremony will take place in Kazan, on May 28, at 3 p.m. at the Entrepreneur's House. The competition is organized by the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan with the assistance of the Regional Ministry of Economy.
