21 May 2025, Wednesday

Today, a zonal seminar-meeting was held in the Mamadyshsky municipal district, dedicated to the development of SMEs and increasing the business activity of the rural population. Oleg Pelevin, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, made a presentation.

In his speech, the speaker focused on the importance of small and medium-sized businesses as the foundation of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan.

It was noted that one of the key priorities of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is to ensure the qualitative growth of entrepreneurial initiatives in rural municipalities, increase the efficiency of enterprises and balanced development of municipalities.

It should be recalled that in order to increase awareness and accessibility of support measures, a Single Business support contact center is successfully operating in the republic, (https://fpprt.ru /) and regional representatives of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund advise businesses on a wide range of issues.

Oleg Pelevin stressed that by the end of 2024, in all municipal districts, including Mamadyshsky, there is a positive increase in the number of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as an increase in employment in this area.

Special attention was paid to ongoing government support measures: federal and republican financial and non-financial programs, concessional lending programs, guarantees and leasing, as well as the introduction of new instruments, including those based on the principles of partnership (Islamic) financing. It was noted that active involvement in these programs directly affects the growth dynamics of SMEs in the districts.

The development of the Republican Marketing Center and systematic work on rural entrepreneurs' access to sales markets ensure a steady increase in corporate revenue, including through participation in government and corporate procurement - noted Oleg Pelevin.
