About 390,000 Tatarstan citizens are registered as self-employed
The number of self-employed citizens has increased in Tatarstan - in January-April of this year, the number of citizens using the professional income tax in the republic increased by 8.3% and amounted to 386,957 people.
Since the introduction of the special tax regime, self-employed residents of Tatarstan have earned about 230 billion rubles, and the total amount of taxes paid amounted to 8.3 billion rubles.
The most common types of activities among the self-employed are renovation and construction. Transport and information services, marketing, cargo transportation, manufacture of own-made products, rental of apartments, IT sphere and other areas are also in demand.
To promote the products of the republic's self-employed, which reflect the regional identity, the Government of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan annually hold fairs under the brand "I am Tatarstan". This format helps the self-employed to talk about themselves and their business, to find new clients and like-minded people. Participation is free for them, thanks to the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
As part of the celebration of Russian Entrepreneurship Day, from May 23 to May 25, self-employed people from all over the republic will offer their products and services to the guests of the fair at free equipped retail outlets.
The event will be held at 20 Bauman St. (Academy of Sciences Square). The event is organized by the My Business Center with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
