Tatarstan accepts applications from businesses to obtain the status of a "social enterprise"

The Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan is accepting applications for confirmation or assignment of the status of a "social enterprise". This status gives access to a set of support measures implemented within the framework of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".

To be included in the register of social enterprises, you must meet at least one of the four criteria:

- provide employment for socially vulnerable citizens or act as a social enterprise yourself;
- to sell goods or services produced by socially vulnerable citizens, provided that the income from these activities is at least half of the total amount;
- to produce goods and services intended for socially vulnerable people with a similar income share requirement (at least half of the total amount);
- provide activities aimed at solving social problems.

The status of a "social enterprise" provides access to various support measures implemented within the framework of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy", including specialized educational programs, property support (for example, rent of state and municipal property on preferential terms), as well as a free employee search program. 

So, after recognition of the status, social enterprises can place two vacancies for free on one of the most popular search and recruitment services. To receive preferential vacancies, you must apply on the SME.RF Digital Platform, by choosing the service "Support program from the job placement service".

It should be noted that confirmation of the status of a social entrepreneur is required annually. Last year, more than 200 companies in Tatarstan received this status. 

To be included in the register, it is necessary to prepare a package of documents corresponding to the selected category. Next, submit the documents through the SME.RF platform in the "Services" section, select "Regional support measures" and the "Acceptance of an application for recognition as a social enterprise" service. You can also submit documents personally to the My Business Center.
After receiving the decision of the expert commission. In case of a positive decision, the mark "Social entrepreneur" will appear in the register of SMEs.
