Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the celebrations dedicated to Victory Day in Nizhnekamsk
On May 9, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in Nizhnekamsk.
As part of the official program, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov addressed the participants with the address of the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, at a solemn rally in the central square of the city.
The delegation visited the museum of the Neftekhimik search team, where artifacts dedicated to the search and perpetuation of the memory of fallen soldiers are presented. They got acquainted with exhibitions prepared by youth organizations that demonstrate the contribution of the younger generation to the preservation of historical memory. Special attention was paid to the exposition organized by the administration of the NMR of the Republic of Tatarstan and representatives of the STOS, which presents photographs and memoirs of participants in the Great Patriotic War, home front workers and residents of besieged Leningrad.
Together with war veterans, home front workers, district leaders and members of the public, the Deputy Prime Minister laid flowers at the monument to Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Jalil.
The program also included visits to interactive playgrounds in the N. V. Lemayev park, participation in the solemn ceremony of laying a Time Capsule, lunch with veterans of the Great Patriotic War and other memorable events.
"In Nizhnekamsk district, 326 respected veterans are our pride and support. Among you are participants in the battles, home front workers. Your lives are an example of service to the Fatherland and a symbol of what true fortitude is. You are a living reminder of what it means to love the Motherland and be faithful to it to the end," Midkhat Shagiakhmetov addressed the veterans.
