5 May 2025, Monday

The full-time business case championship, which brought together 120 talented schoolchildren from all over the republic, has ended in Kazan. The event was held as part of the School Business Start project and was the culmination of an online championship in which participants successfully demonstrated their skills and creativity.

At the championship, young entrepreneurs had a unique opportunity to work with real businessmen who shared their success stories, experiences and business secrets.

The entrepreneurs presented to the participants current business challenges that require a non-standard approach and innovative solutions. To participate in the championship, school business companies were united into teams. The participants had limited time to develop their ideas and suggestions, which added to the tension and competitive spirit.

Not only the originality and economic validity of the proposed solutions were evaluated, but also the ability to work in a team, articulate their thoughts clearly and convincingly defend their point of view. Many teams have shown a high level of preparation and a creative approach to solving complex tasks.

As a result of the intense struggle, the winners of the championship were the national team, which included participants from several school companies: Lyceum No. 2 of the Chistopol district, the Jalil Gymnasium of the Sarmanovsky district and Secondary School No. 6 of Bugulma. Their solutions were distinguished by their originality and practical orientation, which impressed the experts.

The next stage of the School Business Start project is the final meeting, during which the teams will have to protect the financial component of their business projects. Three winning teams will be determined based on the results. They will travel to Moscow, where they will visit the Skolkovo Technopark.

Natalia Kondratova, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Department: "The School Business Start project, which is being implemented as part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy", is unique in importance and scale not only for our republic, but also for the country as a whole: middle school-age children have the opportunity to learn the basics of entrepreneurship for free, they are taught to create business projects - how to reach the final result starting with an idea - the industrial production of the finished product.  Moreover, the geography of this project is very wide - children are involved in the educational process not only from large cities, but also from small villages, the most remote corners of our republic. In just three years, more than 34,000 schoolchildren have already been involved in the educational process.  Of course, in the future this will give a synergetic effect to the economy, the project is already helping to build the human resources potential of entrepreneurship in Tatarstan. It is important not to stop at what has been achieved, but to continue to develop it."

Linara Burkhanova, Head of the My Business Center, First Deputy General Director of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan: "The Business Case Championship aimed to identify and support talented young people interested in entrepreneurship. Middle school students from various schools in Tatarstan demonstrated high analytical abilities and strategic thinking skills. In addition, participation in the championship has become a valuable experience for many students, which will help them decide on their future profession. Of course, such events contribute to the development of entrepreneurial culture among young people and the formation of a new generation of business leaders in Tatarstan."

The School Business Start project is being implemented in accordance with the instructions of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, and is organized by the My Business Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Education and Science of Tatarstan.
