The Republic of Tatarstan has entered the top five among the country's regions in terms of government financial support for businesses provided online to SME.RF, along with the Krasnodar Territory, the Rostov Region, the Udmurt Republic and the Republic of Crimea.

In the 1st quarter of 2025, about 2 thousand entrepreneurs from 71 regions of Russia received microloans in state microfinance organizations (GMFO) totaling over 5.1 billion rubles via SME.RF.

"The SME.RF platform has become a single window of access for entrepreneurs on development and support measures, including attracting financing. The digital environment allows you to apply remotely and receive the necessary funds on favorable terms. This can be done as easily as possible due to the standardization and unification of document management and approval procedures," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation.

About 90 companies have become recipients of support in Tatarstan. The assistance was provided by the business development institutes subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy". The business of the region attracted about 300 million rubles at a reduced rate of 1% per annum. At the same time, half of the enterprises that have benefited from preferential financing operate in the real sector of the economy – manufacturing industries. The rest are in the service and trade sectors, agriculture, and construction.

Currently, the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan implements 5 preferential state loan products with a rate from 1 to 9.5%, with a maximum amount of support of up to 15 million rubles for up to 4 years, including through partner financial programs.

The republic, along with Moscow, is a participant in the "pilot" program of financing secured by intellectual property. 5 companies worth 40 million rubles benefited from the support.

To adapt and involve veterans of a special military operation in business activities in the region, there is a specialized product "Support for self-defense" at 1% per annum for up to 3 years and a maximum amount of funding of up to 5 million rubles. Veterans attract financing for the purchase of equipment and the opening of a sewing production, as well as the production of food ingredients.

Let us recall, the Digital platform SME.RF was developed by the SME Corporation in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and launched in autumn 2023 to increase the availability of services and support measures for small and medium-sized businesses. By the end of 2024, Tatarstan entrepreneurs submitted about 15,500 applications for regional support measures through the SME.RF digital platform.
