Today in Kazan, on the basis of the Center for Scientific and Technical Information of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, a round table "Digital tools to support Science and Innovation" was held as part of the VI International Forum-Festival "Intellectual Property for the Future" (IPfF - 2025) and timed to coincide with the International Intellectual Property Day.
The event was attended by representatives of government authorities, the scientific and expert community. The participants discussed the issues of digitalization of the scientific sphere, the development of an innovative ecosystem and the expansion of opportunities for the commercialization of intellectual property results.
Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Dinar Shakirov addressed the participants with a welcoming speech from the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. "Intellectual property is the foundation for the development of science, technology and creative industries. It stimulates the creation of new ideas, protects copyrights and promotes innovative growth. In the modern digital world, its role is growing day by day, and digital tools open up new opportunities for the development of the intellectual property market," he stressed.
The Deputy Minister also noted the importance of integrating the regional system of the Republic of Tatarstan with the federal Domain of Science and Innovation: "The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation has decided to create and develop the Regional Scientific and Technological Development service in the Domain of Science and Innovation. The integration of our regional system with the federal Domain will give a new impetus to the development of intellectual property and provide us with the opportunity not only to increase the efficiency of budget expenditures, but also to clearly plan research and development based on the priorities of science, technology and technology development."
During the round table, reports were presented on the functioning of the Unified System of State Accounting and Storage of research results in the Republic of Tatarstan, which already contains information on more than 2.5 thousand R&D projects for civil purposes. Special attention was paid to the use of artificial intelligence in transport systems, as well as electronic budgeting in managing the scientific and technological development of the region.
The participants noted the prospects of using specialized digital platforms for the search, analysis and accounting of scientific information, which contributes to more effective management of intellectual property.
Following the event, the importance of continuing the dialogue between all stakeholders for the further development of digital tools to support science and innovation was emphasized.
