In Tatarstan, about 1,000 facilities are available to businesses for rent on preferential terms

In Tatarstan, the register of republican and municipal property contains 1,231 objects, of which 269 have already been leased to businesses on preferential terms. Property support is being implemented in the republic within the framework of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy". In addition to the benefits provided for the rental of premises, the business receives comprehensive support and support for investment projects.   

The resource for municipal property is 870 units, for regional 92 objects. In accordance with regional regulations, the first 2 years rent is free for businesses. Further, over the course of 4 years, the rental price increases by 25% annually - up to 100% of the amount of rent established based on the results of an assessment of the market value of the rental property.

Also, the funds spent by the business on the repair of municipal property will reduce its value in the event of further privatization by the entrepreneur. After 2 years of renting the property, provided that it has been on the property list for 5 years, the property can be purchased without bidding. Installments of up to 8 years are possible upon purchase.

Tatarstan entrepreneurs rent real estate for hairdressers, bakeries, grain cultivation, development of dairy cattle breeding and production of dairy products, production of outerwear, a nursery for growing coniferous trees, beekeeping, a water dispensary, a shoe workshop and other enterprises.

So, in the Apastovsky district, on the basis of a complex of buildings with a total area of 3,500 square meters the sanatorium and wellness camp "Sviyaga+" was built. In the Novosheshminsky district of the republic, a building with an area of 1141.2 square meters was transferred to the production of plastic products, premises with a total area of 182 square meters were commissioned for a mini-hotel. In the Nurlatsky district, on the basis of a building with an area of 4,000 square meters a milk processing and cheese production plant has been established. In Aznakaevo, 2 cafes have been opened for rent, the Chatyr glamping complex operates, and in Leninogorsk, since April 2024, amusement facilities in Gorky park have been leased from an entrepreneur. 

The Ministry of Energy of Tatarstan, together with subordinate organizations, also provides comprehensive support and support for businesses implementing projects in rental premises, such as leasing of high-tech equipment, commercial vehicles, Russian-made special equipment and financial support at rates up to 9.5% per annum. Comprehensive support of investment projects is available from the preparation of business plans, marketing promotion, branding, positioning, certification, to the re-equipment of production, registration of intellectual property rights and other multidisciplinary services at the stages of preparation, launch and implementation of the project. 

A promising area for the development of rental premises in the republic is the expansion of the geography of reception and delivery points for entrepreneurs selling goods through electronic trading platforms. The creation of points for the delivery of orders (PDO) marketplaces corresponds to the regional program for the development of electronic commerce, developed on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. The opening of the PDO will allow: to involve empty municipal real estate objects in economic turnover and ensure fast delivery of goods to residents of remote areas, create new jobs and provide convenient access to local producers to markets for their products.
