In Tatarstan, RusHydro Supplier Day gathered about 700 participants
On April 2, 2025, the Kazan EXPO International Exhibition Center hosted the RusHydro Supplier Day, which brought together about 700 participants.
The event began with a welcoming speech on behalf of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, represented by Deputy Minister Dinar Shakirov. In his speech, he stressed the importance of developing small and medium-sized businesses in the region.
In his speech, the Deputy Minister also noted that the effective socio-economic development of Tatarstan is inextricably linked to the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). He noted that there are more than 178,000 SMEs in the republic, and the share of people employed in this area is about 40% of the total number of people employed in the economy. In the context of business transformation and sanctions pressure, such events are an important step in strengthening cooperation between large and small businesses.
According to Dinar Shakirov, over the past two years, 9 supplier days have been held in the republic, which allowed more than 400 enterprises to become partners of large companies and conclude contracts worth over 4.1 billion rubles. He expressed gratitude to RusHydro for the initiative and organization of the event, which promotes the creation of new jobs and the opening of new opportunities for the development of entrepreneurship.
The Deputy Minister also wished all participants successful negotiations and expressed hope for fruitful results for all parties.
During the event, issues related to increasing the number of potential procurement participants, including small and medium-sized businesses, were discussed. Market participants were introduced to the existing procurement system, new projects, as well as important changes for suppliers.
The Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Sergey Tsivilev highly appreciated the idea of the republic's leadership to hold Supplier Days within the framework of the ENERGOPROM forum. "It's a wonderful undertaking, Rustam Nurgalievich, I really liked it, it's just wonderful," he told the President of Tatarstan.
Let us recall that on April 3, 2025, the Supplier's Day will be held at the site of the Kazan Expo IEC JSC "Network Company"
