On February 26, 2025, the Government of the Russian Federation approved a Program to promote Russian products abroad under the national brand "Made in Russia" for the period up to 2030.
The new program is designed to last until 2030. With its help, it is planned to ensure an increase in the volume of exports of non-primary non-energy goods by at least two-thirds compared with the indicator of 2023, to achieve an increase in exports of agricultural products by at least one and a half times compared with the level of 2021, and to form stable partnerships with interested foreign countries.
The program also aims to create the necessary infrastructure for foreign economic activity, technological and industrial cooperation, and the development of new markets.
The program's activities include conducting international business missions of Russian manufacturers, organizing fairs to promote Russian products abroad under the "Made in Russia" brand, and developing and launching the official website of the national brand.
The President instructed the Government to scale up the program for the promotion of Russian goods. A meeting of the State Council, which was held under the leadership of the head of state in September 2024, was devoted to the development of exports.
"The President emphasized that, despite the objective difficulties that Russian business is currently facing, we are developing external business ties, expanding their geography, and strengthening cooperation with predictable, reliable partners who, like our country, understand their national interests and value mutually beneficial trade, industrial, and cooperative ties," said Mikhail Mishustin, commenting on the decision taken at a Government meeting on February 27.
The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate the program within the framework of the National Project "International Cooperation and Export", and the main functions of ensuring and implementing the program will be assigned to the Russian Export Center.
