"One of the priorities for high-quality business growth is the expansion of sales markets, including through access to friendly foreign markets. Slide one is the development of online commerce," the Deputy Prime Minister said.
Online trading is an effective tool for expanding SME sales markets.
By the end of 2024, the number of Tatarstan online sellers increased by almost 13% and amounted to 68 thousand. The revenue of suppliers at the end of the year amounted to about 70 billion rubles.
The Minister noted that the heads of districts and line ministries need to continue their work, including as part of the implementation of the relevant e-Commerce Development Program.
The e-commerce development program covers a wide range of issues, such as infrastructure and logistics development, promotion, popularization, foreign economic activity, and education.
Tatarstan has become the first region of Russia to implement its own program for the development of this industry.
