The Menzelinsky Municipal District of Tatarstan summed up the results of its activities in 2024 and outlined priorities for 2025
A reporting session of the Council of the Menzelinsky Municipal District was held in Menzelinsk today, during which Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov made a report on the results of the region's work and plans for the current year.
The speaker noted that this year has been declared the Year of Defender of the Fatherland, and special attention will be paid to veterans of the Great Patriotic War. As of February 10, 2025, 148 front-line soldiers and more than 7880 veterans live in the republic. Commemorative events are planned in the region as part of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
In the current socio-political situation, significant support from the republic is provided to military personnel and their families. The Minister expressed gratitude to the residents of the Menzelinsky district for their active assistance, including sending humanitarian aid and visits to the liberated territories.
By the end of 2024, Tatarstan's economy is showing positive dynamics: the volume of the gross regional product exceeded 5 trillion rubles, and investments amounted to 1,335.2 billion rubles. Tatarstan remains the leader among the regions in terms of agricultural production and the volume of construction work, including thanks to the contribution of the Menzelinsky municipal district.
The Minister also highlighted the contribution of the district to the implementation of national projects and programs. In 2024, the construction of 14 infrastructure facilities was completed. The plans for 2025 include major repairs and construction of 22 facilities, including schools, medical and obstetric centers and cultural facilities.
Modernization of healthcare and improvement of the demographic situation remain important areas. In 2025, 32 billion rubles will be allocated to support families in Tatarstan. The goal is to strengthen family values and infrastructure.
In conclusion, the Minister thanked his colleagues for the work done and called for further joint solutions to the urgent tasks of the republic.
Also, during his visit to the Menzelinsk municipal district, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov visited the Menzelinsk Industrial Park and got acquainted with its activities.
