The Guarantee Fund of Tatarstan summed up the results of work for 2024 and discussed plans for the current year
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the meeting "On the results of the work of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2024 and plans for 2025".
The event was also attended by Natalia Kondratova, Chairman of the Board of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship Development.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported on the main results of the Fund's activities in 2024, including the amount of guarantee support received by entrepreneurs of Tatarstan within the framework of specially developed preferential products "Support of SVO", "Daman" and "Intellectual Asset".
In particular, he stressed that the Guarantee capital of the Fund as of 01.01.2025 amounted to more than 3 billion rubles, which exceeds the equity capital of some regional Banks.
In addition, as part of the evaluation of the Fund's effectiveness, it was noted that about 10 billion rubles of credit funds were attracted to the republic's economy due to the Fund's guarantee support.
"The largest amount of guarantee support in 2024, namely 30.2%, was received by entrepreneurs working in priority industries," noted Rustem Mukhamedshin.
Changes in the terms of warranty support effective from 01.01.2025 were also noted. Now, not only Tatarstan entrepreneurs can benefit from the Fund's guarantee support, but also Russian entrepreneurs operating in the Republic of Tatarstan.
In addition, since 01.01.2025 The Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan has increased support for investment purposes and investments in non-current assets to 100 million rubles per borrower and up to 120 million rubles for a group of related companies.
Gulnara Safiullina, Head of the Risk Management Division, noted that the percentage of penetration of guarantees of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan in the total portfolio of loans to SMEs of the Republic of Tatarstan is 12.3% of the number of lending entrepreneurs, that is, every 8th SME attracted a loan under the guarantee of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and every 10th million loan funds were issued under the guarantee of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Svetlana Bobrova, the head of the Unified Lending Center in her report spoke about the launch of new federal preferential programs planned in 2025, including the preferential lending program through the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the preferential program of the SME Corporation and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. She also voiced the problematic issues of entrepreneurs received during field seminars and meetings with business communities in municipal districts of the republic.
At the end of the working meeting, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov thanked his colleagues for the work done in 2024 and wished them success in achieving their goals in 2025. "The Guarantee Fund sets significant goals for itself this year, their detailed elaboration and actual implementation are important, and most importantly, the effectiveness of each invested state ruble," he stressed.
