Yesterday, the first free self-employed festival in Russia was held in the capital of Tatarstan. The large-scale event, organized by the national project "Small and Medium-sized enterprises", gathered more than 700 participants.
A rich program, useful and entertaining locations awaited the guests. The festival became a platform for the qualitative growth of aspiring entrepreneurs - the self-employed could scale their business by registering a new legal form - individual entrepreneurship for self-employment tax. Such a legal regime makes it possible to remove a number of restrictions that the self-employed have, while maintaining attractive conditions of the tax regime.
There was also a self-employed fair throughout the festival day. More than 100 citizens of the republic became its participants. Guests of the fair could buy New Year's holiday gifts - chocolate, jewelry, toys, clothes, postcards and much more. The self-employed sold products of their own production in the amount of 3.1 million rubles at free equipped retail outlets.
The participants of the fair shared their positive feedback about the event:
Olga Salakhova was selling hats at the fair: "Thank you so much for organizing such an event! For me, this is a new experience, new acquaintances and a good start in sales."
Alina Zaitseva who presented epoxy resin jewelry, thanked for the organization: "Thank you very much to the organizers for the opportunity to participate in the event, I found new customers and just pleasant acquaintances."
The Festival ended with the announcement of the winners of the online intensive course "I am self-employed" for taxi drivers and couriers. In December, more than 1,000 self-employed citizens took part in the online intensive. The unique program consisted of 5 lectures, in which the invited speakers talked about self-employment, professional growth and personal skills development. After listening to lectures and passing a test task, participants could compete for prizes - the top 10 self-employed people received valuable gifts following the results of the online intensive: 5 bicycles and 5 certificates for free gasoline.
Workshops on make-up and jewelry skills with a raffle of certificates were also held at the event site. The festival ended with a concert program, the headliner of which was the group "Culture Room".
The festival was organized by the My Business Center with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. Thanks to the national project "Small and medium-sized enterprises", all the events of the festival were held for guests and participants absolutely free of charge.
