An educational seminar on Islamic finance has started in Tatarstan
Today, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Amirkhanov opened an educational seminar for state and municipal employees of our Republic on the topic "Islamic Finance".
Tatarstan became one of the four regions of Russia where an experiment on special regulation of partner financing was launched, thanks to Federal Law No. 417-FZ, adopted in August 2023.
This law has become a powerful impetus to the development of the partner finance market in our republic, and this is reflected in the results: the volume of transactions in this area has doubled compared to the previous year, more than 30 different financial products are available on the market, covering all major areas.
We are convinced that this seminar will provide new knowledge and skills that will help to better understand Islamic finance and use its potential for the development of our region.
