Tatarstan's industrial SMEs have attracted about 10 billion rubles in nine months thanks to the national project

Industrial enterprises of small and medium-sized businesses in Tatarstan attracted 9.6 billion rubles of financial support for the national project "Small and medium-sized enterprises" in the first nine months of this year. This allowed the republic to enter the top 10 regions of the country in terms of funds received to support local industries.

514 enterprises of the republic in the field of industry received financing under the national project. 

In general, thanks to the implementation of the national project "Small and medium-sized enterprises", industrial enterprises of the country attracted more than 309.4 billion rubles in the first nine months of 2024. The volume of support remained at the level of the same period last year. The quantitative growth of supported loans amounted to 22%.

"Out of 15 thousand loans with state support, about 3.4 thousand were attracted for investment purposes. The funds are aimed at technological modernization of enterprises, purchase of modern equipment, development and expansion of production facilities," said the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov.

Small and micro businesses account for almost 73% of the total financial support.

"The largest amount of financing in nine months was attracted by small and medium-sized industrial enterprises in Moscow (40.3 billion rubles), the Moscow Region (25 billion rubles) and St. Petersburg (17.2 billion rubles)," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation.

This is followed by Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk, Nizhny Novgorod regions (11.1 billion, 10.8 billion and 10.4 billion rubles, respectively) and the Republic of Tatarstan (9.6 billion rubles).

Industrial small and medium-sized companies attract credit funds under the program of preferential lending to SMEs 1764, as well as using the tools of the National Guarantee System - guarantees from the SME Corporation and regional guarantee organizations, direct loans from the SME Bank and microloans from state microfinance organizations.

Financial support for industrial SMEs is provided in accordance with the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises", which was initiated by the President Vladimir Putin.
