Large-scale modernization of polyethylene production has been completed in Tatarstan
The solemn opening of the renovated production facilities of PJSC Kazanorgsintez took place in Kazan today, which was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
The modernization of the high-density polyethylene production line (reactor B) made it possible to increase the design capacity from 100 to 220 thousand tons per year. This was made possible thanks to investments of over 8 billion rubles. Improving technology not only increases production capacity, but also contributes to the environmental efficiency of production.
After the modernization of all three lines, the total capacity of Kazanorgsintez reached an impressive 660 thousand tons per year. Reactor B will process about 20% of ethylene from the new ethylene complex, ensuring the sustainable development and competitiveness of the enterprise.
