The Ministry of Economy held a meeting of working group No. 10 on attracting federal funds to the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, head of working group No. 10 M. A. Topilin.

Natalia Kondratova, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship Development, made a presentation. The development of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) sector is of fundamental importance for sustainable economic and social growth," the speaker stressed at the beginning of her speech.

During the report, the results of the implementation of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative" for the current year were presented, as well as information on the ongoing work to attract federal funding for investment projects in the republic.

As of 9 months of 2024, the SME sector in the republic is showing positive dynamics. The share of people employed in small businesses is about 40% of the total number of people employed in the economy, which exceeds 788.7 thousand people.

In January-September 2024, the number of self-employed in the Republic of Tatarstan exceeded 359.9 thousand people, an increase of 26.3% compared to the last year's figure. The number of SMEs also increased by 4%, reaching 175 thousand units. This year, growth is observed in all major industries. The largest growth was shown by: IT (+110.26%), manufacturing (+107.01%), tourism (+106.80%), logistics (+106.66%), scientific and technical sphere (+106.24%), hotel business (+105.74%), catering (+103.95%), trade (+101.88%) and construction (+101.78%). The number of medium-sized enterprises increased by 6.8%, and small - by 4.6%. In Tatarstan, great attention is paid to supporting SMEs, financial and non-financial measures are being implemented through the infrastructure created on the basis of a national project. The volume of financial support for SMEs in 2024 increased by 10.3% and amounted to more than 62.7 billion rubles. In 2025, the amount of support will increase to about 9 billion rubles.

Ivan Kolchin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about the implementation of the national project "Labor Productivity" in the Republic of Tatarstan in his report.

In the Republic of Tatarstan, two regional projects are being implemented within the framework of the national project "Labor Productivity": "Systemic measures to increase labor productivity" and "Targeted support for increasing labor productivity at enterprises". The first project does not require funding and includes a competition "Best mentoring practices". The second project, aimed at "Lean Manufacturing", is carried out with the help of the regional competence center, which helps businesses optimize internal resources. 264 enterprises are involved in the project, about 5,000 employees have been trained, and 252 projects have been implemented. The average increase in labor productivity was 65%. In 2023, 94 million rubles were allocated for events, of which 76.2 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget. The projects have been extended until 2030 within the framework of the federal project "Efficient and Competitive Economy". It is planned to involve 90 enterprises in 2025. In total, it is planned to allocate 414.4 million rubles for three years, of which 120.9 million rubles for 2025. In December, the selection of subjects of the Russian Federation for the provision of subsidies will take place.

Thus, the current results in the field of SMEs and support for federal initiatives indicate positive trends in the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. This creates a basis for further development and implementation of new technological solutions in the business practice of the region.
