The volume of purchases by state-owned companies from the self-employed of Tatarstan amounted to 74 million rubles

In Russia, the total volume of purchases by state-owned companies from the self-employed in the three quarters of 2024 amounted to 8.13 billion rubles. Tatarstan accounts for 74 million rubles. 103 self-employed people of the republic became suppliers of state-owned companies.  

"The consistent increase in the volume of purchases from the self-employed is facilitated by the extension of preferences to them that small and medium-sized businesses have in procurement. This decision significantly simplified the participation of the self-employed in purchases under Federal Law 223 and helped ensure a 54% increase in their volume over the year, to 8.13 billion rubles. The number of self-employed procurement participants is also growing, today there are more than 7 thousand of them," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation.

The most in demand in the procurement system for the self-employed in the three quarters of this year were support services related to financial intermediation and insurance services — more than 3 billion rubles (37.2% of the total volume of purchases from the self-employed), professional, scientific and technical services - almost 0.6 billion rubles (7.1%), services in the field of creativity, arts and entertainment — over 0.5 billion rubles (6.5%), construction work — more than 0.4 billion rubles (5.3%), advertising and market research services — almost 0.4 billion rubles (4.6%).

In terms of the increase in procurement volumes by the third quarter of 2024, security services are leading the way — an increase of 7 times (+159.3 million rubles). Legal and accounting services were purchased from the self-employed almost 5 times more (+166.8 million rubles), support services related to financial intermediation and insurance services - almost three times more (+1984 million rubles). 

Purchases of specialized construction services increased almost 2 times (+196.9 million rubles), and professional, scientific and technical services — 1.5 times (+201.9 million rubles).

In total, since 2019, almost 3 thousand of the largest customers have signed contracts with more than 17 thousand self-employed people. Their total amount amounted to 20.7 billion rubles, the average contract price was almost 610 thousand rubles.

Let us recall that the self-employed can participate in purchases under Federal Law 223 on the same terms as small and medium-sized businesses, from April 1, 2020. Support for the self-employed is one of the key areas of business support within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises", which was initiated by President Vladimir Putin.
