The number of exporters is growing in Tatarstan
An event dedicated to export support tools within the framework of the national projects "International Cooperation and Export" and "Small and medium-sized enterprises and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative" was held in Kazan today.
At the opening, the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship Development Natalia Kondratova and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Herman Lerner made welcoming speeches.
"The development of small business exports is a priority area of state policy to support SMEs and contributes to the sustainable development of the republic's economy," said First Deputy Minister Natalia Kondratova.
According to her, thanks to a set of measures implemented within the framework of national projects, the number of exporters in the republic is steadily growing. In 2023, their number is more than 2,200, whereas in 2022 there were about 1,600.
"Tatarstan is one of the leading export-oriented regions of Russia," said Deputy Minister Herman Lerner. - In the first half of 2024, the volume of exports increased by 22% compared to last year. The republic has great potential and favorable conditions for the development of foreign economic activity."
During the event, REC experts presented the areas of support and the product portfolio of the REC, including a full range of expert and financial support, as well as tools for state export support. The digital platform "My Export" was also presented. The experts held consultations in the "question-answer" format, where entrepreneurs received answers to their questions about export support.
The number of participants is about 150 in person, in addition, an online broadcast was conducted, which allowed all enterprises of the republic to participate in the event. Among the online audience there were also representatives of all municipalities overseeing business development on their territory.
At the end of the event, the participants were able to exchange contacts and share their own experience in mastering the export of goods and services abroad.
It should be recalled that the support of manufacturers who are conducting or planning to start work in foreign markets is provided by the My Business Center and the Export Support Center with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises".
