On the holiday weekend, from August 29 to 31, a large fair of self-employed products was held in Tatarstan. Free retail spaces were provided to 120 self-employed people of the republic on Bauman Street as part of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises".
For three days, the tourist street of Kazan became a place for the sale of goods produced by the self-employed from all over the republic. The fair under the brand "I am Tatarstan" was held within the framework of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship" and allowed the participants to gain 3 million rubles.
Self-employed presented at free equipped retail locations: decorations, paintings, home textiles, micro-greenery, confectionery, cosmetics, home decor, bags, toys, wooden dishes, clothes, postcards, knitwear, scented candles and much more, made with your own hands.
"The range of goods produced by the self-employed in Tatarstan is growing. Every fair you can meet something new. For example, this year one of the participants of the fair was selling micro-greenery, traditionally a lot of goods with a national flavor. All products presented by the participants are distinguished by quality and local, often manual, production. And it is important for us that local goods are known at the regional and federal levels - this is facilitated by similar fairs, services for bringing products of the self-employed to marketplaces, educational modules that are available to our self-employed within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises", - said the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Natalia Kondratova.
Participation in the fair is free of charge and opens up opportunities to improve the skills of selling goods. The self-employed can find new customers, establish useful connections with colleagues, and master direct sales skills.
"I have a lot of experience participating in fairs. Fairs usually become part of major regional events. The organizers always ensure the traffic of the guests. For me, first of all, this is a platform where I can talk about my brand and find new customers. It is also nice to feel in a circle of like-minded and talented people with business ideas and their own experience. We communicate, share with each other. I want to thank the organizers for holding such events," shared one of the participants of the fair Kashapov Kamil.
The self-employed produces clothes under their own brand.
The event was organized by the My Business Center with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" initiated by the President of the Russian Federation.
