Artisans and businesses from the creative industries of Tatarstan can take part in the "Master of the Year − 2024" competition

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on the basis of the Centers "My Business" and the marketplace Fair of Craftsmen − Livemaster announce a competition for artisans and representatives of creative industries. Tatarstan entrepreneurs can apply for participation until October 25, 2024.

"Creative industries in Russia make a significant contribution to the country's economy: their share in GDP is 4.9%. Today, there are about 750,000 companies from the creative sector in the country, and the figure is growing every year. In particular, this includes entrepreneurs from the fashion, design, folk arts and crafts industries, jewelers, artists, and artisans. For such entrepreneurs, the Ministry of Economic Development and the marketplace Fair of Masters initiated a competition. The products will be evaluated in 14 nominations, including separate nominations for family workshops, authors of products with national motifs, craftsmen with disabilities," said the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Tatyana Ilyushnikova.

Authors can take part in nominations by types of crafts – dolls and toys, ceramics, jewelry, wool and leather, wooden products, painting and painting, fabric, embroidery, decoration, national souvenir. The competition also includes special thematic nominations. For example, designers of clothes and shoes using folk motifs will be able to apply to the "Russian style" section. Family workshops will be able to exhibit their products in the "Family Business" nomination, and craftsmen with disabilities will be able to exhibit their products in the "Inclusion" nomination.

Entrepreneurs, self-employed and individuals who create handmade products can take part in the competition. If there is a valid store on the Fair of Masters marketplace, you must submit an application on the competition website. If there is no store or it is not active, contact the My Business center of the Republic of Tatarstan or send an application online. In this case, the participant will receive an additional bonus: an advertising package to promote the product in the catalog at the Masters Fair.

The winners will be determined by a vote of the jury and site visitors. The authors of the best works will receive gifts and opportunities to promote their products.

Participation in the competition is free of charge. The deadline for submitting an application is October 25, 2024.
