On June 5-7, the delegation of Tatarstan took an active part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov participated in most of the events and meetings with the participation of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan R. N. Minnikhanov, this is:
- participation in the meeting of heads of regions of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia;
- meeting with the President-Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank;
- meeting with the Chairman of the Board of the Moscow Credit Bank;
- meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC United Metallurgical Company;
- participation in the presentation of the results of the National Rating of the investment climate in the subjects of the Russian Federation;
- Meeting with the Minister of Trade and Industry of the Arab Republic of Egypt Ahmed Samir;
- meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khojaev;
- Meeting with Ambassador Plenipotentiary of India to the Russian Federation Vinay Kumar;
- meeting with the CEO of JSC "State Transport Leasing Company";
- meeting with the Governor of Liaoning Province of China;
- meeting with President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik;
- meeting with the management of the company "Rockvool Russia";
- meeting with the head of Romex Group of Companies.
More than 15 organizations presented their products at the Tatarstan stand during the forum. 21 meetings were held, including 8 international ones.
