The Ministry of Economy held a strategic session on the development of intellectual property
On May 30, 2024, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan held a strategic session on the development of intellectual property in the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held with the participation of representatives of ministries, scientific organizations, higher educational institutions, public organizations, enterprises of the republic.
As part of the discussion with the participants of the strategic session, proposals were put forward for the development of intellectual property in the Republic of Tatarstan as part of the implementation of the May decrees of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the minutes of meetings of the Operational Headquarters for Ensuring socio-Economic Stability in the Republic of Tatarstan, and a proposal for further strategic sessions on the development of intellectual property in the Republic of Tatarstan in an expanded format was considered in a format with the invitation of additional participants.
Arsen Savva, Director of the Center for Scientific and Technical Information of the Republic of Tatarstan, made an analysis of the situation in the field of intellectual property in the Republic of Tatarstan.
In terms of achieving technological sovereignty of the country, the issue of commercialization of research and development is one of the most important. The task of the strategic session was to determine the reasons for the low patent activity of the subjects of innovative activity of the republic. The purpose of the strategic session is to develop effective systemic measures to enhance the introduction of technological innovations and the development of intellectual property.
