Tatarstan will present 6 winners of the Student Startup program at the exhibition of the Russian Venture Forum

The My Business Center, with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Entrepreneurship Support Fund, will show the projects of 6 winners of the Student Startup program at the exhibition of the Russian Venture Forum. The winners of the program are provided with consulting and information support throughout the implementation of projects.

The participants of the exhibition will present projects in the field of construction, medicine and industry aimed at imports phase-out.

Among the projects: the development of thermal insulation technologies used in industrial enterprises, software that allows one to analyze data on medicines. One of the projects is dedicated to the development of smart insoles for sports. A project on the development of polymethylsiloxane as a multifunctional soil sorbent will also be presented at the exhibition.

The competitive selection is conducted by the Innovation Promotion Fund in stages throughout the year. In two years, 442 projects from Tatarstan became winners of the program, which received financial support.

"In order to develop university technological entrepreneurship, Tatarstan is constantly working to involve new startups and young people in the Innovation Assistance Fund program. Developers receive a professional assessment of startups, recommendations, practical skills for the further development of student projects and a million rubles for the implementation of the project," said Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Dinar Shakirov.

The My Business Center helps students to prepare an application for the qualifying stage in a timely and correct manner. Within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship", the Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan provides the following services to the winners of the Student Startup program:

•  consultations (more than 900 consultations have been provided since 2023);
• training in universities of the republic on applying for the Student Startup program (more than 1300 students were trained as part of applying for the 5th stage of the program in 2024);
•  the pre-acceleration program "Navigator of the Innovator. Tatarstan" from the Skolkovo Foundation (100 people were trained in 2023, 2 training programs are planned in 2024);
• financing the preparation of business plans (since 2023, 74 winners of the Student Startup program have received the service);
• participation in exhibition and fair events.
