Two more companies were among the participants in the partnership financing experiment

Tinkoff and the Registration Company "STATUS" are included in the register of participants in the experiment on partner financing. To date, 18 organizations are participating in the Islamic banking experiment, 12 of which are companies from the Republic of Tatarstan.

"The main task of the partnership finance experiment is to attract a large number of market players to form a practice for the introduction of various products. We note a certain increase in the number of products sold after the start of the experiment and are glad that the number of participants in the experiment is increasing," said Ruslan Khaliullin, Head of the Department for Partner Financing of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Let us recall that from September 1, 2023, an "experimental legal regime for the implementation of partner financing activities" was launched in four regions of the country. It operates in Dagestan, Chechnya, Bashkortostan and Tatarstan. The essence of the experiment is to test Islamic banking at the state level - a set of financial services provided in accordance with Sharia law. The experiment will last two years.
