The delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the experiment on partner financing with the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation
The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation hosted a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov and State Duma deputies Maxim Topilin and Airat Farrakhov with Ivan Chebeskov, Head of the Expert Council under the Government of the Russian Federation on partner finance, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation.
Within the framework of the meeting, systemic issues were discussed, a federal action plan for the development of partner (Islamic) finance, a single portal was presented (http://ifhub.ru ), as well as the upcoming KazanForum 2024.
On September 1, 2023, a two-year experiment on the introduction of partner (Islamic) financing began in four regions of Russia - Tatarstan, Bashkiria, Chechnya and Dagestan. The relevant law was adopted in August last year.
