Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a meeting on the construction of engineering and road infrastructure of industrial parks

On April 17, a meeting on the construction of engineering and road infrastructure of industrial parks in 2024 was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Transport and Road Management of the Republic of Tatarstan, GKU Glavtatdortrans, GAU UGETS RT, representatives of 8 municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as representatives of management companies of industrial parks – winners of the selection.

It should be noted that the creation and development of industrial parks is an effective tool for increasing the business activity of municipalities, creating jobs, and increasing the income base of cities and districts.

By the end of 2023, more than 1,600 residents of industrial parks of the republic created 65.3 thousand jobs. The products produced by residents account for about 10.5% of the total industrial production of the Republic of Tatarstan, which makes a significant contribution to the economy of the republic.

However, one of the constraints on the development of industrial parks is the lack of necessary engineering and road infrastructure.

In this regard, the Ministry of Economy conducted a selection of industrial parks, which resulted in the selection of 8 accredited industrial parks (also coordinated by the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, R. N. Minnikhanov). The construction of the infrastructure is planned to be carried out this year.
