Tatarstan entrepreneurs are invited to compete for the title of exporter of the year

The Russian Export Center announced the start of accepting applications for the All-Russian competition "Exporter of the Year" in 2024. 

You can apply by June 30 by filling out an electronic questionnaire on the website of the Russian Export Center at the link: https://www.exportcenter.ru/awards

Russian large companies, small and medium-sized businesses, as well as individual entrepreneurs can take part in the Exporter of the Year competition. Participation is free of charge.

The Exporter of the Year Award in 2024 will be awarded in 20 nominations: six main ones (separately for SMEs and separately for large businesses, a total of 12) and five additional nominations (depending on the size of the company, a total of 8).

The main nominations for SMEs are: "Exporter of the Year in the field of industry", "Exporter of the year in the field of mechanical engineering", "Exporter of the year in the field of basic products of the agro-industrial complex", "Exporter of the year in the field of ready-made food" (high processing), "Exporter of the year in the field of services", "Trader of the year".

SMEs can also choose additional nominations: "Responsible Exporter (ESG)", "Best Female Exporter", "Best Young Entrepreneur Exporter", "Breakthrough of the Year" and "Best Exporter in the field of electronic commerce".

Nominations for large businesses: "Exporter of the Year in the field of industry", "Exporter of the year in the field of mechanical engineering", "Exporter of the year in the field of basic products of the agro-industrial complex", "Exporter of the year in the field of ready-made food" (high processing), "Exporter of the year in the field of services" and "Trader of the year".

Additional nominations for large businesses: "Responsible Exporter (ESG)", "Best Female Exporter" and "New Geography".

The winners of the competition will be determined in two stages. The winners and prize-winners of the first stage – at the level of each federal district — will be announced from August to September. Next, the winners and prize-winners of the competition at the federal level will be selected from among the companies that took first place according to the results of the district stage.

The award ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the federal stage will be held in October 2024 in Moscow on The International Export Forum "Made in Russia" with the participation of top officials of the state.

Companies that do not have an unfulfilled obligation to pay taxes, fees, insurance premiums, penalties and fines, overdue debts to the budget of the Russian Federation can participate in the competition. Foreign legal entities, as well as companies whose founders and/or participants are foreign companies, cannot be applicants for the award.

At the initial stage, only one document will be requested from exporters — an electronic copy of the certificate of registration with the tax authority (a copy of the TIN).

The Exporter of the Year Award was established by the Government of the Russian Federation to encourage organizations and individual entrepreneurs who have achieved exceptional results in export activities. The award, presented at the end of the competition, is a symbol of state recognition of the merits of exporters in strengthening the national economy and promoting Russian competitive products to foreign markets. The competition is supported by VEB.RF, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
