Tatarstan entrepreneurs are invited to business webinars in the field of intellectual property

As part of the implementation of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises", the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, together with the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, conduct ­educational webinars on intellectual property for small and medium-sized businesses.

On April 19, at 10.30 am, the webinar "Intellectual Property for innovative business" will be held, the main topics will be:
• "Is it long and expensive to patent?" - debunking myths about patenting;
• Effective protection of innovative developments, benefits of patenting;
• Measures to support SMEs: tools, tax incentives. What makes it possible to be included in the register of Small Technology Companies (STC);
• Rospatent's open digital services for the protection of intellectual rights: the possibilities of Rospatent's digital search platform in the field of technical solutions;
• Features of patenting software / IT solutions.

 The webinar "Effective protection of your brand" will take place on April 23 at 10.30 am. Main topics:
• How does a trademark differ from a logo, brand or brand name;
• How and when to register a trademark (brand), how to avoid frequent mistakes;
• What can and cannot be registered;
• Registration of trademarks for the self-employed;
• Support measures from the SME Corporation (for SMEs in the field of services and trade, etc.);
• How to check your trademark (logo, brand) for originality yourself: the possibilities of a new trademark search service.

The lectures will be held in an online format. Registration for the lecture is available on the SME.RF Digital platform. The training events are held as part of the implementation of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" initiated by the President of Russia.
