A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy as part of the development of a master plan for the socio-economic and spatial development of the Kama agglomeration
Today, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, as part of the development of a Master Plan for the socio-economic and spatial development of the Kama agglomeration, held a meeting with representatives of municipalities belonging to the Kama agglomeration, representatives of federal and republican government authorities, as well as the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan to discuss the report of the GBU "Institute of Spatial Planning of the Republic of Tatarstan" on environmental and transport challenges preventing the implementation of investment projects in the Kama agglomeration.
The meeting was held by First Deputy Minister of Economy O. V. Pelevin
Special attention was paid to the problem of environmental safety in the development of the Nizhnekamsk industrial hub.
Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan O. V. Manidicheva made a report on "Environmental risks in the development of the Kama agglomeration", she focused on the need to propose coordinated design solutions to environmental problems of the Kama agglomeration.
With the participation of the head of the Department of Highways of the Ministry of Transport and Road Management of the Republic of Tatarstan O. A. Kazennov, a project for the construction of a bypass road providing access from the territory of the Nizhnekamsk industrial hub to the federal highway M-7 "Volga" on the bypass section of the cities of Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny was discussed in order to reduce the load on atmospheric air and sustainable development of enterprises of the Nizhnekamsk industrial complex the node.
Representatives of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan R. I. Kamalov and Director of the Institute of Ecology and Subsoil Use Problems R. R. Shagidullin, as well as representatives of municipalities (Municipal formations of Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Mendeleevsky and Tukaevsky municipal districts) took an active part in the discussion.
