The Innovation Assistance Fund, together with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, launched the acceptance of applications for the Start-Take-Off competition. The competition is being implemented within the framework of the federal project "Take-off – from startup to IPO", which is supervised by the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov. Only individuals can participate in the competition, and the amount of support will be 3 million rubles without co-financing the project.

The winners of the competition will conduct applied scientific research and experimental development of their own hypotheses.  This will allow one to check the feasibility of the project as a whole and assess the possibility of creating a product in demand on the market at subsequent stages.

The projects are selected in six thematic areas: digital technologies, medicine, new materials and chemical technologies, new devices and intelligent manufacturing technologies, biotechnologies and resource-saving energy.

Applications for the Start-Take-Off competition will be accepted on May 20, 2024.
