Small technology companies in Tatarstan can receive a grant of up to 12 million rubles for the implementation of innovative projects

The Innovation Assistance Fund, together with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, has opened the acceptance of applications for the Business Start competition. The selection of companies is carried out within the framework of the federal project "Take-off – from startup to IPO", which is supervised by the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov.

The maximum amount of support will be 12 million rubles. The amount of co-financing from the company's own or borrowed funds must be at least 30% of the grant amount.

The Business Start competition is aimed at selecting innovative projects providing for the creation, expansion and (or) modernization of production necessary for the serial production of innovative products, as well as its commercialization.

A Russian company belonging to the categories of "Micro-enterprise" or "Small Enterprise" in the Unified Register of Small and Medium-sized Businesses, whose head does not have open contracts with the Fund, can participate in the competition. The deadline for completing the work under the terms of the competition is 12 months.

Priority will be given to projects:

• aimed at commercialization of import-substituting technologies (products, services);
• assuming the replacement of components of technological solutions (products) planned for commercialization with Russian analogues;
• assuming the replacement of technological chains (their elements) and means of production.

The main parameters of the support provided:

• The grant amount is up to 12 million rubles;
• extra–budgetary co-financing (from own and/or borrowed funds) - at least 30% of the grant amount;
• The direction of support is the financial provision of expenses related to the implementation of an innovative project, according to the list of expenses approved by Order No. 680 of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation dated 10/27/2014;
• The deadline for the implementation of the innovative project is 12 months.
