217 entrepreneurs of Tatarstan received grants from the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the amount of up to half a million rubles

The competition commission has identified social and young entrepreneurs under 25 who will receive financial support from the state.

On August 24, Tatarstan launched an application campaign for a grant competition for social and young entrepreneurs under 25 who have been trained at the My Business Center. A total of 266 people applied. 217 people received funding up to 500 thousand rubles. The total amount received by social and young entrepreneurs is more than 92 million rubles.

Thanks to grant funds, small and medium-sized businesses will be able to purchase the necessary equipment, rent premises, purchase materials for production and much more.

"Support of small and medium-sized businesses is one of the priority areas of the Ministry of Economy. It is especially important for us to pay attention to young and social business. Social entrepreneurship contributes to solving socially significant problems, for example, socialization and adaptation of vulnerable segments of the population. Thanks to the support of young entrepreneurship, we are strengthening and increasing the economic potential not only of our republic, but also of the whole country," First Deputy Minister of Economy Natalia Kondratova notes.

The practice of providing grant support to social and young entrepreneurs has existed since 2021 as part of the implementation of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship", which was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
