The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan met with experts of business and business associations to discuss the assessment of regulatory impact

The meeting with the participation of experts and representatives of business associations of the region was devoted to the results of the implementation of the procedure for assessing the regulatory impact of draft republican regulatory legal acts and expertise for 9 months of 2023, as well as the prospects for further cooperation of the meeting participants in this direction. 

Representatives of the apparatus Commissioner for the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs – the assistant of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Association of Enterprises and Industrialists of the Republic of Tatarstan (regional Association of Employers), "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan" Union, the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatarstan regional branches of all-Russian public organizations "Support of Russia" and "Delovaya Rossiya", Associations of Farmers, peasant Farmsteads and agricultural consumer Cooperatives of the Republic of Tatarstan were present.

In the republic, when conducting regulatory impact assessment and expertise, public consultations are held, in which representatives of the business community are necessarily involved. The opinion of representatives of the business and expert community is taken into account when preparing conclusions on the results of the regulatory impact assessment and expertise.

When speaking to experts, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Pelevin noted that the participation of representatives of the business community in public consultations held as part of the regulatory impact assessment and expertise allows not only to take into account the interests of the business community, but also to improve the rule-making procedure and, most importantly, to increase the confidence of citizens and businesses in the government.

Chairman of the Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russian public organization of small and medium-sized enterprises "Support of Russia" Anton Baklashov stressed in his speech that close cooperation with business experts has been established in the Republic of Tatarstan, and such interaction brings its positive results.

The invited experts shared their suggestions on organizing joint work in the future, involving more participants in the process of public consultations.

Thus, Deputy Director General of the Association of Enterprises and Industrialists of the Republic of Tatarstan (regional association of employers) Igor Rassman suggested more actively involving representatives of industry associations to participate in public consultations.

In his closing speech, the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of TatarstanOleg Pelevin noted that the institute of regulatory impact assessment today is an integral part of the rule–making process and the involvement of the business community in this process allows a systematic approach to the problems of doing business, contributes to the formation of a favorable investment and business climate of the republic.
