The work on the development of the master plan of the Kazan agglomeration was discussed at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting dedicated to the development of the Kazan agglomeration.
The event was held with the participation of the business community of the municipal districts of the Kazan agglomeration, the Institute of Spatial Planning of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Yulai Minnullin.
The placement of production facilities, industrial parks, warehouse territories, taking into account the efficiency of use and the possibilities of renovation or reorganization, were discussed with entrepreneurs.
Yulai Minnullin, addressing business representatives, noted that the master plan of the Kazan agglomeration was laid on the basis of the instruction of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan and this is an important task to be solved during the year.
"Tatarstan is one of the few Russian regions that does this (note: the development of agglomerations), and the regions of the Far East are also beginning to move in this direction, including with the involvement of federal funding. Tatarstan can also potentially secure additional funding for the implementation of development projects. This will allow them to be implemented systematically, taking into account optimized deadlines," the Deputy Minister said, addressing entrepreneurs in the hall.
He also added that on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the GBU "Institute of Spatial Planning of the Republic of Tatarstan" and interested executive authorities of the region, is working on the development of a master plan for the Kazan agglomeration and its long-term socio-economic development plan.
The work consists of 5 stages, 3 have been implemented to date, most of the work has been done, now we are entering the stage of preparing the project part of the master plan and the DPR.
Director of the State Budgetary Institution "Institute of Spatial Planning of the Republic of Tatarstan" Oleg Grigoriev said that the Institute of Spatial Planning was established in the Republic of Tatarstan relatively recently. The main occupation of the organization is the preparation of territorial planning documents for the Republic of Tatarstan. In addition, he spoke about the scenario conditions for the placement of production facilities, industrial parks, other places of employment, as well as the results of the analysis of industrial and communal storage areas for the effectiveness of use and possibilities of renovation, reorganization.
