Tatarstan entrepreneurs have attracted more than 50 billion rubles under federal and republican support programs
Since the beginning of the year, Tatarstan entrepreneurs have attracted about 45 billion rubles of funding under federal support programs, another 5.5 billion rubles have been allocated to support small and medium-sized businesses within the framework of republican measures. Deputy Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship Development and Competition Emil Khismatov told about this live on the SDG of Tatarstan.
Representatives of the Ministry of Economy spoke live about the implementation of the National Project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative".
Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Guzel Nasibullina noted that national projects in the republic have been implemented since 2019 and are aimed at creating favorable conditions for all categories of citizens.
"Every entrepreneur can find a suitable measure or service for himself. Starting from the guarantee support provided by the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, when a business attracts borrowed funds. It is also microfinance support through the My Business center, which also provides non-financial support measures: you can get training, get advice, go to the marketplace and much more. The Export Support Center of the Republic of Tatarstan provides support measures to exporting entrepreneurs thanks to the national project "International Cooperation and Export"," the Deputy Minister said.
In particular, today you can get a grant of up to 500 thousand rubles. Support is available to social entrepreneurs or young businessmen under the age of 25 inclusive – these can be managers or founders whose share in the company is more than 50%.
"The grant is provided on the terms of co–financing - the entrepreneur invests at least 25% of the total cost of the project at his own expense. One can do 50-50, or 70-30 at the discretion of the entrepreneur. The most important thing is that they should be at least 25% of the total cost of the project," said Emil Khismatov.
If you do not have your own funds, then you can, for example, take a preferential microloan from the Entrepreneurship Support Fund.
"Last year, about 120 projects were funded under the program – these are both young and social entrepreneurs. According to federal programs, since the beginning of the year, our entrepreneurs have attracted about 45 billion rubles of financing. According to republican support measures, more than 5.5 billion rubles were allocated to support small and medium-sized businesses. We see that under the guarantee programs of our guarantee fund, the volume of support even for half a year exceeded the amount of support provided for the whole of 2022," the speaker added.
